Nate followed at a distance as the two were checked in.
The naked one puzzled him slightly, and they were still unable to find his clothes. Damn naturists...
Gabe...well, Gabe disapointed The Sheriff. He thought that the drinking phase was over, but apparently lot. He was ruining his life, and Nate had a feeling that it was about to get a hell of alot worse.
The drunk was still unconcious, as he was rolled into a private room. Nate followed him, checking the state of the victim first.
Looks like they were both going to live.

Gabe couldn't remember the trip to the hospital, or any of the commotion that happened once he ha arrived along with the unfortunate person he had hit with his car.... His car! It was surely written off.... that was the best thing he possessed and couldn't really afford to get a new one right now. Not that he'd be able to drive one in prison anyway....
Eventually he awoke to the sound of muffled voices, only seeing a few blurred characters through the glass of the door that kept him concealed in a small recovery room. The droning beep-beep sound echoed in his mind, obovious that he was hooked up to various machines... the state of Romeo didn't even cross his mind, it hurt too much to think...

A nurse informed Nate of the current state of Romeo.
He was bleeding heavily, and may never walk again. Right now he was out cold, possibly in a coma.
The Sheriff shook his head and frowned at Gabe through the glass window.
God damn it Gabe...You fucked up you own life, why'd you have to mess up someone elses.
Dayes couldn't feel much pity for the drunk bastard now. He'd been given all the warnings, all the ley-way the Sheriff could pull, and still...still he destroyed himself.

Juliet had been alerted when she arrived on her shift they needed her help and fast, she put on her doctors coat and walked in seeing the sheriff. And saw Gabe, her heart sank when she saw him laying there. She had Gabe's chart in her hands and Romeos, when she looked down at there charts it didn't look good. But for Romeo it looked worse. She checked Gabe, besides getting sober she looked down at Gabe and then the sheriff. She gave him a friendly smile.
"With some faith I think Romeo will be ok, I know Gabe will be fine" She sighed.

Gabe knew he didn't have many options, the door was being covered by one or two officers, and the corridors would be filled with a number of people that could stop him if he decided to try his luck at escaping. There was a window that looked big enough to get through... but it would be a painful procedure, and he didn't even know what floor he was on. Slowly shifting himself so he was sitting up more, he kept an arm on his side, trying to ease the pain a little, the other arm starting to remove the tubes an wires he was hooked up to.

Metcalf rushed into the room where Romeo and Gabe lie. He sighed. "What in God's name happened?!" He pulled out med kits and tool from numerous drawers and moved to the sink. He dipped his hands into the water and cleaned them before wiping them in the auburn towel provided.
He turned to Nate and shook his head. "Boys shall be boys!" He laughed nervously.
"Well, from what I can see, they will live. But I want to get a full X-Ray done on both of them, I want to see if their insides look anyworse than the outsides."
He tilts his head to Juliet. "Aye, they might look fine, but the outside we can perservere with, it's what's messed up on the inside that is worrying me." He points to Romeo. "Juliet, I want a full X-Ray on him first. I'll take a look at Gabe now and see what I can do."

Nate remained outside the room, the stern expression of an unwavering father remained on his face.
He'd have to leave soon, it was 5am in the morning for God's sake.
