He raised one eyebrow. "Oh? So you like to sneak into many 'small time clinics'?" He said a tad shocked.
"So..." he prolonged. "Where else have you seen burns like this, Miss clinical big-shot?" He asked. "See many non silver, non heated metal burns often?"
He pauses. "I tell you what. You tell me why and what you are looking fro and I will see what's in the files, something that I could share with you."

"Not quite what I meant." She smiled. "Usually I would go through some chanel or another to get access. It's sadly not all that hard these days." Her hand fell to her side, resting now on her bag strap, gripping the tightly woven black material strongly.
"Like I said, these are unusual. I can't say I have seen burns just like this before, it's a good wind up anyway." She ran her tongue across her lip and bit it gently for a brief moment, thinking back. "No, I don't think I've got records of these burns..." It gave her the urge to pul her laptop out and check, but she wasn't about to do that here.
"To be honest, anything interesting, unusual, and could pass of for at least a decent hokes," She started, then her eyes followed him, and her brow knitted for a moment. "Please, tell me, why on earth would you want to help the young woman who has snuck her way into the morgue and been caught, hmm?" She was suspicious, most people would do you over in a second, given the chance.

Doc laughed. "Who say's I 'aint going to turn you over to the sheriff after this little conversation? I know, for certain that he can lock you up for at-least 4 to 5 months for breaking and a entering. And maybe longer for snooping around private 'classified' areas."
He went to the morgue filing system on the wall.
"The body was off a Mr. Henry Curkbane. Neighbours heard a disturbence at around 12 midnight last Monday." He paused and put the file back.
"Now... Miss...?" He asked waiting for her name.

She nodded and a hand slipped into her pocket, making a note of the name and timings. At his question, waiting for her name, she broke into a smile, breaking her serious face for a moment. "You really think i am about to give you my name if you are thinking about reporting me?" She nearly laughed and slid her notebook away.
"Come on, what do you take me for. In all my years of work, all the times I was arrested, I have never spent a single night in jail, never had a fine, unless a little bribery counts. Everyone has their strings, you just need to pull the right one."

The doctor laughed.
"And what would be my string to pull?" he asked curiously? "Push an old doctor to the floor and run out with the infomation I gave you?" He widened his eyes. "Well? Would you? For the fact that you could obtain your story. Get paid. Little low in my oppinion. But, if your after a quick buck or two? Shame on you..." He sighed.

Her finly plucked eyebrow raised a little. "What do you think I am, a common criminal?" She asked. "Actually, don't answer." She looked at the man with a doubtful eye. "I don't do assault, it makes trouble in the long run. I would rather leave with as little trouble as possible, whether it means walking out of that door..." she gestured behind her to the closed door. "...or clambering out of that small window." She nodded to the window beside her, open a little, very small. "But I would not like the latter, not in this skirt." She smiled.

Doc nodded, listening intentivley. He slided the wheel chair to himself, and sat down. He crossed his bandy legs and folded his arms.
"There you go then..." He said gesturing to the door, then to the window. "Go."
He looked around and bit his lip, waiting.
"Oh, but before you do go..." He paused. "Oh, never mind... you wouldn't be interested..." He paused again. "Go on, off you go." He said to her with a gentle smile, obviously hiding something.

She started towards the door, her back turned to him, but as he began his next sentence she frowned and bit her lip, letting out a silent sigh. Twisting on one of her stilletto heals, she faced him once more. "Oh, come on then. You can't start and leave me hanging." She gave him a charming smile, perhaps he would have some information she could use, even pay for, if money was what he wanted, but by the look of him, she wasn't sure that seemed to fit the bill.
"I always was too stupid to walk away."

Doc smiled at her. "Curiosity killed the cat..." He smirked.
"Now, I can't tell you everything, afterall, it's classified infomation." He kicked out and another chair slid out.
"Please. Sit." He said waving his hand to the chair.
The room was white, the lights shone as a blinding white beam, very much so as an alien beam. The room was cold due to the fact it was a morgue to preserve the bodies.

She stepped back towards him and seated herself carefully, crossing her legs gracefully and pushing her hair from her face. "Thank you." She allowed a smile, she wanted to take out her notebook but that would be rude, she could make notes later. The harsh light illuminated her more than she wished, it showed the few things that showed the stresses of her job.
Dark circles had started to form around her eyes, though they were well concealed and faint, her eyes were a little red and her usually perfect manicured nails were longer than they should be, it made it hard to type when they got too long. Usually, she worked to keep herself looking nice, but right now, a new town, new job, and still trying to find a motel without rats had taken it's toll.

Doc leaned back in his chair and leaned on his palm of his hand. "To begin with, can I atleast know your name? I think it is rude to speak to someone without knowing exactly who they are, or atleast some idea."
Without waiting he bagan, knowing that she would jump in with her name when he stopped for a second.
"This is not our first incident like this. There have been a few related incident, or..." He paused and used the air quotations. "'Acidents.'" He said with a smile.
"You must understand, Miss...?" He waited for her name.

She hesitated before finally caving in and allowing him her name. "Maoir, Akira Maoir." She rested her elbow on the arm of the chair, and ran the first joint of her knucles across her lips for a moment, the other hand still firmly placed in her lap.
"Please continue doctor." She smiled and closed her eyes for but a moment, it was a comfortable change, being in the cool, rather than the stifing heat outside.

He nodded with a smile. "Ah right, Miss Maoir. Oh, what was I sawing now?" he paused.
"Oh right!" He cheered. "You must understand. This is a small town, all small towns have secrets. Not that we have any." He quickly added.
"Now, I will be the fiest one here to tell you that us locals, or 'Old uns' as they call us." He laughed. "We have lived with these 'accidents' for years. Strange things do happen here, I wont deny that. But, we live with it, as most people would. There is nothing paranormal going on here, I can asure you."
He paused and waited for her to take it all in.
"Tell me." He asked. "If I said to you, your little hometown could be the biggest place on the map if it only had 3 big holes on the farmers field? What would you do? What would the residents do? Dig them 3 holes? Sell T Shirts with 'I saw the 3 big holes and lived!'. Get me?" He chimed.

"I would make sure no one dug any holes at all." She gave him a smile. "I hate all this hype that goes on, even worse, I would hate for it to happen at home, they would ruin the place." She smiled at him. "You know Norway has a smaller population over the whole country than most main cities in America,. There are more people in Manhatten than there are in the whole of norway, or Sweden for that matter.
"I like the peace and quiet, why do you think I dig around small places like this?" She asked, looked around the morgue, she much preferred villages to towns, any day.

He laughed. "Well most people would enjoy the fact that their house in in a hotspot. Profits rise, hopefully though, bodies wont rise." he looks around. "Unlike here. You know there are more people in here than there are in the local shop!" He always had a good sense of humor. You needed it in New Winchester.
"So if you don't like all this hype, why create it for us? Why are you here?"
