I was waiting in the parking lot of The Roadside Bar for a tow truck to come and pick up my car which had just blown a water pump. My brother-in-law was keeping me company. While waiting, I reclined on the hood of my car and was looking at the stars and specifically admiring the Big Dipper. I caught movement out of my eye and looked slightly below and to the right of the Big Dipper and saw three triangular shapes in a very tight triangular formation. They were moving from east to west across the sky. I wasn't sure at first that I was seeing this, so I asked my brother-in-law to look up at the sky. By this time, the three triangular shapes were to the left of the Big Dipper, but still below it. He immediately spotted them as well. They appeared to be heading in a straight line, and were moving incredibly fast. In less than 30 seconds, they were out of sight. The weird part was that these three craft didn't make any noise at all. We were clearly about a mile north of the westerly approach of landing aircraft, and in fact saw many jets that evening coming in to land at Mitchell International Airport, which is located about 8 miles east of our location. These triangular shapes were definitely not commercial aircraft. They appeared to have some kind of texture to their forms, but I was unable to determine with my naked eye what that texture might have been. Since there was nothing higher or lower than these shapes, I have no idea of their sizes due to a lack of a reference point. They did appear to be uniform in appearance.
After making this claim, the FBI rolled into NW, and interviewed the two men.
However, now the two 'admit' to lying about the whole sighting.
